I always wondered what a 289 FIA Shelby Cobra would have looked like as a true racing coupe (not just an attached hardtop). I’m sure it would be a challenge ala a Lotus Elan to get in and out of! (as well as being extremely loud inside like the Daytona Coupes are) If built today, at least it wouldn’t get lost in the plethora of the “me too” Cobra kit roadsters at the local cruise-in.
