1955 Ford Thunderbird FHC

1955 Ford Thunderbird FHCI always wondered what the small 2-seater Thunderbird from 1955 would look like if it wasn’t a convertible. Business executives, travelling salespeople and more would have preferred the additional interior space behind the seat and the more robust waterproofness of a fixed head coupe (FHC). The coupe inspiration is from the Italians from the beltline up on this one. The tail has been extended (like the 1957) so the spare tire could be enclosed within the trunk. Wheels are inspired by the big Lincoln Continental itself. If someone did this right, it could be done to look as if from the factory itself.
