1963 Maserati Sebring 3500 Coupe

Designed initially by the Carrozzeria Vignale on the short wheelbase chassis drawing heavily upon Maserati’s competition experience with the 350S sports car of 1956. The twin overhead camshaft six cylinder engine was a close relative of the gran prix 250F racecar.

Although the design language of the Vignale styling is memorable, I decided to change things up a bit. I moved the doors and the entire cockpit back about six inches to give it a more distinguished attitude. Mild changes to trim, fender lofts and more to make it look more sporty. And admittedly I used modern wheels from a 2017 Ghibli to keep with the Maserati heritage.
