A picture of the Ferrari 340/375MM Vignale bodied spyder by Ferrari sn# 0286AM as it was unloaded off the trailer for restoration. Most remember it with the white fin on the back and the Carrera Panamericana lettering written across the fenders and the #20 with Phil Hill / Ritchie Ginther’s names on the doors.

When “stored” it was filled full of redwood chips given it being in a truck box partially in the ground in Northern California. All that moisture held against the aluminum and you know what results over several decades. All the wood steering wheel rim remnants were still within the redwood chips though. The old warrior had survived but she needed a bit of work…
