[Flashback History]
A picture from Sergio Scaglietti’s workshop when the Ferrari 375MM (0402AM) coupe was being created in the mid-1950s. Originally it was a Pinin Farina open spyder that Roberto Rosselini (Italian movie director) crashed into a tree. Scaglietti got the commission to turn the Ferrari into a coupe for Rosselini and his wife Ingrid Bergman.
This was a restoration project long ago for myself. (this Ferrari won Best of Show a few years ago at Pebble Beach) If interest in my old metal shaping days or restoration work (and history of the various cars) — let me know and I will post more.
