This wasn’t your fathers work pickup. The fender wells are raised and opened up for the larger wheels and tires. Updated suspension and driveline. Side trim is from the deluxe window version of the van and extended rearward. I kept that part of this reimagine simple!

Where all the work on this is in forward cab upper section. The base of the windows (side and rear) are lowered 1.25 inches in relation to the upper door crease. There is 2.75 inches removed from the glass area itself. Thus a 4.0 inch chop ultimately. Lots of work involved but it isn’t that difficult provided you keep the warpage to a minimum while welding and have patience to figure our your cut lines correctly.
