1949 Veritas Scorpion

What if BMW as a manufacturer did not fully survive the war as they did? There would be no BMW 507 roadster of legacy as we all know it. Would the Veritas Scorpion have become the luxury sportscar of choice in Germany (and for export) like the 507 did? Here is my stylized version of the Veritas if it was built and they had a few more Deutsche Mark’s to put a proper curved windscreen and more refined roof upon it along with a few other selective modifications. [and a modern BMW N63 with its twin-turbo V8 engine would make for a nice addition!]
