1932 Ford Model 18 Edsel Roadster

Originally designed by Bob Gregorie for Edsel B. Ford — and this is my design evolution of the boattail speedster they built in that era. The bodywork has been channeled over the frame, fenders recontoured and numerous tweaks to make it something that I’d like to have myself.

My interest in this boattail speedster was due to the book called “Edsel Ford and E. T. Gregorie — The Remarkable Design Team and Their Classic Fords of the 1930s and 1940s”. Worthwhile read and it helped me understand some of the proportions to the pre-WWII Ford automobiles built.
