Volkswagen / Coachcraft of Hollywood

This is the artwork for a personal project that has been underway for several years whenever I get that rare free time between customer work. Basis is a 1956 VW sedan turned into a Hebmüller cabriolet style that imaginatively was further modified by Coachcraft of Hollywood in the 1950s.

Color will be a 1949 Cadillac green and the roof will be a Carson lift-off style assembly. Wheels are inspired from the Alfa 8C2900B coupe restoration project we won with at Pebble Beach in 2008. No modern wheels on this one! Engine is vintage with Okrasa speed parts. Interior will be an intermix of factory VW parts and Auburn Speedster / Cord 812.

Note: the artwork is about 15 years old but I only started building it as of late after collecting many of the rare speed parts and Auburn/Cord dashboard parts I wanted.
