Henry Pickett is who this picture was taken by. At the time when taken, he was the a mechanic and transport driver for Team Scarab that was Lance Reventlow’s raceteam in the USA and when they went to Europe. He spent many a mile behind the wheels of that transport van behind the Scarabs. But he tired of racing and being away from home. Thus one day he walked away from it and ended up back in the Tacoma, Washington area and was a diesel boat mechanic and lived a good life. He’d inevitably would stop by the race shop each week for lunch for over a decade and always was driving his Volkswagen diesel pickup. Good guy with some great stories!
