Road & Track – 375MM Ferrari 0286AM

Road & Track photoshoot for the 375MM Ferrari chassis 0286AM restoration project — Spring 1997

More pictures of the 375MM that we restored back about 21 years ago. (I’ll post more of the metal shaping upcoming)

These particular pictures are from when Phil Hill and John Lamm flew up to Seattle to do a photoshoot that appeared in the magazine at the same time we debuted it at the Monterey Historics and brought it to Pebble Beach for the concours. Thus we had to have this big displacement Ferrari restored earlier than we had originally anticipated!

In the pictures are Phil Hill, Pete Lovely, John Lamm and myself. These were taken in Vantage, Washington about a stones throw from the mighty Columbia River. As many of you know who have done photoshoots, getting the setting for the car itself is sometimes a challenge — as well as getting the lighting to work and actual orientation of the car. The second location for the photoshoot was a nearby gravel pit and just as the sun was starting to set. Long day but glad we made it happen.
