Porsche 550GT Outlaw Coupe

This is an evolution of an idea I played with last year. Current inspiration for the redesign was seeing the project at Emory Motorsports called the 356RSR with the MOMO Heritage 6 style wheels. That admittedly got the gears in my head turning.

Why the MOMO wheels? I remember this wheel design from when I crewed in the old days of IMSA GTP and the great Porsche 962’s that graced the racetrack around the USA. And I never liked the Porsche 550 front wheel wells — thus my own adaption and restyling. And I wanted a Porsche 356B inspired nose upon it and larger door openings with a cockpit position inspired by some of the more modern Porsche racecars from Le Mans.

Nobody would do this to one of the original 550 coupes given their million dollar plus valuations. but remember there are fiberglass kits out there that would be easy to modify if needed…
