Monterey 1994

From Laguna Seca race track in Monterey, California. August 1994. These pictures were forwarded to myself many years ago by an enthusiast when he realized it was myself in the picture. The guy with the white bicycle cap and pony tail and blue jeans. This is before the days of the crew wearing “uniforms” or even semi-truck transporters for moving cars and hospitality services. This was the last year of the old school small trailer method.

The Ferrari was Pete Lovely’s 1959 250 Testa Rossa [chassis 0768TR] with coachwork by Fantuzzi.

That is a Ferrari 312T(?) that came from the Ferrari Museum in Italy. On Saturday, we had the chance to meet Niki Lauda (who raced it originally) and he did several demonstration laps around the track for everyone. Nice guy and a memorable weekend for all.
