On my cnc milling machine between customer projects, I’ll make plaques for myself, my toolboxes and for friends. (Machine the aluminum plate, media blast, black paint, belt sand to clean the top metal and final clear coat for UV protection and prevent aluminum oxidation. This is a front plaque for the golf cart with the name of my dog on it — her name is Flikka — and she is the co-pilot whenever I go somewhere with it and she protects it rather fiercely.
