Dodge A100 Street Rod

A friend from high school has been building a Dodge A100 pickup over the past few years after inheriting it from his father. New custom fabricated 2×4 rectangular steel frame with airbag front suspension, new cab floor, new bed floor, tucked wheels, new wheel tubs and Mustang 2 front suspension and an interesting steering box setup. Roof was chopped pre-1974 before his father had acquired it. Supposedly it was being built for the drag strip and never finished. He acquired the wheels from a local ’32 Ford roadster that had cosmetic issues with the polishing (pitting) as well as an engine from a wrecked modern HEMI powered pickup. Paint will be a semi-gloss white with a semi-flat black HEMI logo stripe. Wheels are media blasted aluminum and sprayed with a clear semi-gloss finish. Trim will be painted semi-flat black. Interior will be black. Simple truck. Low budget. His own labor and paint. And most importantly it will be a daily driver even in the rain of the Pacific Northwest.
