Der Inglourious Basterd (Volkswagen bus)
Inevitably you all know what a hot rod T Bucket roadster looks like from the mid-1950’s through today. Really popular in the 70’s era with superchargers, tall roof and big rear and skinny narrow front tires. They were iconic without question.
What if instead of a Ford T model body shortened — somebody had radically modified a VW bus body instead? Or you found an unloved T Bucket chassis with suspension and a crazy supercharged wierdo engine for cheap but wanted a bit more weather protection? Then again you just might want to piss off every Volkswagen enthusiast on the planet by building this!
This is just a quick illustration to play with the idea. Refinement is needed but a basic concept is there. I dare you to go build it!
