B.A.T. 7 at 1956 Pebble Beach

In 1956, the Alfa Romeo B.A.T. 7 found another new owner in the San Francisco area. By this time the fins had been removed by either: 1) request of the new owners wife for “better visibility”; 2) the rear wing was damaged with the prior owner after it was raced in Palm Springs months earlier and when repainted red. (I do know that someone did try to repair the wing and couldn’t duplicate it nor match the other — so both were removed)

In this new configuration it was shown in August 1956 at the Pebble Beach concours d’elegance in either a black (or dark rootbeer brown) color with a silver graphic on the engine cover and the upper roof area.
