1969 AMC AMX (Series I)

Just a quick couple of subtle modifications to an early Series I AMX. Front wheels moved forward 2 inches. Rear wheel moved rearward by 1.5 inches. Front and rear wheel wells opened up for the larger diameter wheel combinations. Bumpers and gaps cleaned up. And an exhaust out the rear rocker as there isn’t much space in the rear of these for exhaust tubing and mufflers.

This one isn’t a complex one to create. Given the dearth of quality front suspension parts for these, one might as well put in a modern front suspension and move it forward while doing it. (it will also allow more engine oil sump and header options) Ditto for a modern rear suspension with links and coil-overs. Body “messaging” is pretty minimal.
