1954 Arnolt-Bristol Roadster Custom

I’m a three decade plus enthusiast of the great Italian automobile designer Franco Scaglione. The Arnolt-Bristol was designed by him and built by Bertone. Unfortunately the design was never a favorite of mine. Thus I decided to do a bit of a minor redesign perhaps if I had found one and modified it for myself and my tastes.

Note about the original design. Given the height of the inline 6-cylinder engine (basically a pre-war BMW 328 derivative), the engine cover sits inordinately high in relation to the lines of the car. Thus the unique fender shape and lofting to conceal that fact and to make this work as a sports car. (I kept that aspect in my concept)

Reality is that the above will never happen given what these are selling for as of late!
